Art, prints etc. - Maui is a wonderful place for art of all kinds. one of our favorites is:
- Lahaina Print Sellers - In their own words they are: "the largest purveyor of original antique maps, prints and engravings in the state of Hawaii, our holdings of original 17th, 18th, and 19th century imagery is substantial.".
- Car Storage - This company will store your car, pick it up at the airport when you leave and drop it off at the airport when you return to Maui. As at March, 2008 the storage cost is $75.00 per month. For more information email Larry Nelson at nelsonr043@hawaii.rr.com 808-575-9008.

Winery - Tedeschi Winery (Terrrific spot. Also see the Ulupalakua Ranch and drive a few miles past the winery for super scenery you can't see anywhere else on Maui.)
- Car Rentals - Kihei Rent a Car: Cars rent for + - $200/week and are 2003s and newer. They pick you up and drop you off at the airport up to 10:30 pm.
- Churches -
- Keawalai Congregational Church A great experience at an authentic Hawaiian service. Located about 15 minutes from the condo. Beautiful venue and service. Some of the service and almost all the songs are in Hawaiian (song sheets available). Often there are so many attending the services that some are seated outside (which is great).
- Golf -
- Kaili Golf Course. Reasonably Priced. The private golf course adjacent has a club house designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, built after his death.
- Elleair Maui Golf Course Reasonably Priced. Just up the road from Kauhale Makai.
- Pukalani Golf Course Reasonably Priced. Don't forget to visit the cowboy town of
Makaowa when you are up-country.
Restaurants:
- Mamma's Fish House Terrific Food and Venue. Located about 30 minutes fromt the condo. Don't forget to drive a mile or so past the restaurant to view the spectacular surf at Hookipa;
- Seawatch Restaurant Located in Wailea, about 12 minites from the condo) this restaurant has it all! Great food and service and beautiful ocean views from the outside patio.
- The Waterfront Restaurant Located in Maalaea (15 minutes from the condo). 1st class food, service and views
